Can you still be considered a graduate and apply for graduate jobs even though you graduated 12 years ago?
i cheekily applied for a job and got an interview. Graduated from Uni in 1996.

- meh, why not... "graduate job = low pay job" so they wont care who applies
- Don't know about the UK, but in the US it is illegal to discriminate in hiring against those over 40 years old. New graduates = covert discrimination. Good for you and knock them dead on the interview!
- YES, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHEN YOU GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE. AS LONG AS YOU GRADUATED.
- Well if you got an interview, then clearly the answer is yes!
- errrr.... you are still a graduate..... as long as you have graduated from uni you will always until your dying day be a graduate!!!
- I'd say that for a job advert, a graduate job is one where they are looking for a recent graduate. One where they pay quite a bit less and maybe have a graduate training scheme that lasts maybe several years, If you like the sound of the job then why can't you apply for it?
