University Graduates

What do you think is the competence university students shold possess?

I just read an essay written by Ernest Boyer and now i am asking myself "As a university student, what competence should i possess? What kind of commitment should the students fulfill What goals are we pursuing?" What is your opinion?

1. Able to think for themselves, research issues and reach their own independent conclusions without outside help. Basically show a high degree of autonomy in resolving issues. Thanks Bill
2. 1. I think Dedication should come first - try to devote and ready yourself for bigger responsilities, love your studies and express gratitude for all the good things happened 2. Wisdom - since your intelligent, use your mind in a nice way and be optimistic... 3. Patience - be patient with annoying persons, projects, researches, and many more! 4. SMILE!
